IPC

Just another Wonecks.net Blogs weblog

A NEW CLASS!!!

I am excited to be teaching IPC. It is always a challenge to find ways to encourage Freshman as they begin their High School careers. I look forward to working with your children, and teaching them the necessary skills to be successful the next four years.

I will be working on modifying this blog to include lesson plans, power point note presentations, and other tidbits to help you work with your child throughout the year.

Please feel free to subscribe to receive updates.

Skyward and Progress Reports

If you have the access to skyward to view your child’s grades, I have found an interesting function you may not be aware of. On the left there is a button for Email notifications. If you will click on this it brings up a page that you can have skyward send you an email if your child receives a failing grade ( or you can set it for what ever low point you would like ( for instance, if they make below an 80 on a paper it will send you a notification ) or you can have it send you a progress report by email daily, monthly, or weekly. ) You just have to click on change my notifications, and then set it for however you like. I as a parent found this very helpful, and wanted to pass the information on to you.
